Loys.Laundry is a rapidly growing fashion brand with a studio based in Amsterdam. Our tiny, multidisciplinary team is passionate about upcycling timeless men's suits and turning them into unique, stylish, and size inclusive clothing. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Design Intern to join our team.

As a Design Assistant Intern at Loys.Laundry, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our designer and play an important part within our young and energetic team. Your major role will be to assist the designer with various design responsibilities, such as designing and creating new collections and ensuring a smooth operation of our design processes.

Responsibilities:
- Implement new design concepts for our collections and create samples.
- Assist with researching new fashion trends, fabrics, and colours.
- Create detailed technical drawings and sketches of garments.
- Assist in the preparation of moodboards.
- Help in organising and maintaining the studio.
- Support the team in administrative tasks, such as organizing schedules, coordinating sample shipments, and maintaining design archives.
- Stay updated with industry trends.
- Participate in fittings and provide feedback on garment construction and fit.

Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in fashion design or a related field.
- Strong passion for fashion and an understanding of current trends.
- Knowledge of garment construction and the ability to create technical drawings, patterns, and samples.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
- A positive attitude.
